Since December 4, 2024, a brand-new playground has opened its doors in Mauritius: Funtopia. Located on the 1st floor of Tribeca Mall, right next to Gravity, this indoor adventure park is already causing a stir. Children and parents alike agree that this play area is a real paradise for the little ones.
An Adventure Park that lives up to expectations
Funtopia stands out for the diversity and quality of its facilities. Here are just a few of our family-friendly highlights:
- A huge ball pool: Imagine a sea of colorful balls where kids can dive, swim and play for hours. This is undoubtedly the park’s star attraction.
- Multiple slides: Children love the thrill of sliding, and Funtopia understands this. There are several slides for different ages, so every child can have fun in complete safety.
- A small car circuit: For toddlers, this circuit is ideal for pretending to be a budding racing driver. Perfect for developing their motor skills and sense of direction.
- An accrobranche path: perched high above the ground, you’ll encounter obstacles all along the way, leading to various slides.
- Enclosed basketball/handball hall with bouncy floor
A fun experience for young and old alike
Funtopia not only entertains children, but parents too. The space has been designed to provide comfort and convenience for the whole family:
- A safe environment: Parents can leave their children to play in complete peace of mind, with the gantry at the entrance to the play area and staff posted in each zone to ensure compliance with safety rules.
- Rest areas: Seating and waiting areas are provided so that parents can keep an eye on their children just before the entrance gantry.
- Proximity to Gravity: Being located right next to Gravity, it’s possible to alternate between the various activities at the mall, providing variety for a family day out.
- Please note: it’s quite noisy and there are lights all over the place.

Monday-Thursday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Friday-Sunday: 10 am – 10 pm - Prices :
- RS 500 the first hour per child
- RS 50 for a pair of non-slip socks (fluorescent orange)
- RS 350 per additional hour
- Membership pass at RS 1500 per month with 1 hour daily play
- Age: 2 to 13 years. The little ones will enjoy the area on the far left as you arrive, where you’ll find the circuit with buggies, sensory, motor and construction games, as well as stores and businesses to suit them (fire brigade, supermarket, pharmacy, etc.).

Perfect for the festive season! We also took the opportunity to visit Gravity next door, with its arcades, climbing walls and giant trampolines. Personally, I preferred to take a break at the foodcourt and have a snack.
