My name is Julie (aka Jules on social media), I am French and I have been living in Mauritius since 2018.
After several years of a fast-paced Parisian life shaped by work, routines and daily obligations, my husband and I felt the need to change our priorities and our lifestyle.
We decided to move to Mauritius without knowing everything in advance, without having all the answers, but with the desire to build a life more aligned with our values.
Like many others, our expatriation project was born from a mix of curiosity, desire for change and the search for a better work-life balance.
Arriving in Mauritius was both exciting and challenging: new procedures, new habits, new environment and a completely different rhythm of life.
Very quickly, I felt the need to share this experience — honestly and without idealisation — to help others better understand what life here is really like.
This is how From Paris to Moris was created.
From Paris to Moris is a space where I share:
My goal is simple: to offer a realistic, accessible and transparent view of life in Mauritius, far from clichés.
I will share with you my daily life as an expatriate and also as a mum.
Over time, many people contacted me to go beyond simply reading the blog.
I therefore developed personalised support services for those who wish to prepare their expatriation project with clarity and confidence.
I do not offer standard solutions.
Every journey is unique.
Every family, every project, every situation deserves a personalised approach.
My role is to help you save time, avoid unnecessary difficulties and move forward with confidence.
Today, I continue to develop this website, create content, support expatriates, and share my daily life in Mauritius.
From Paris to Moris has become a complete ecosystem combining information, guidance, inspiration and entrepreneurial projects.
Among them, Azordi, a curated selection of local fashion pieces, is now part of this journey.
