Since late June 2026, a brand-new play area has opened its doors at Tribeca Mall: Bounce by Funtopia. Located on the 1st floor, right next to Funtopia — which I featured here — and opposite Gravity, this space entirely dedicated to giant inflatable structures is a first in Mauritius. I had the chance to attend the preview and try it out with my kids. Here’s everything you need to know before going.
What is Bounce by Funtopia?
Bounce by Funtopia is an indoor park entirely dedicated to giant inflatable structures: bouncy castles, slides, climbing walls, jumping zones. All set on ultra-cushioned surfaces that absorb falls — perfect for burning off energy with minimal risk. The space is located on the 1st floor of Tribeca Mall, right next to Funtopia, adding to the mall’s already well-stocked indoor entertainment offering.
Available activities
Unlike Funtopia, which focuses on climbing structures and the ball pool, Bounce goes all-in on the XXL bouncy castle experience:
- Giant inflatable slides

What age is it for?
One of Bounce’s biggest strengths: there’s a session for every age group, which avoids the chaos of having everyone mixed together.

My honest opinion
The kids absolutely loved it! It’s a brand-new experience in Mauritius, and who doesn’t love jumping into a giant bouncy castle? There are several different zones throughout the space, and it’s great fun with friends. You can even book it for birthday parties. I already know we’ll be going back.
Useful info before you go
- Wear comfortable clothing — covering knees and elbows is recommended
- Booking ahead is strongly advised — sessions fill up quickly
- A safety waiver must be signed before participating
- For under 5’s outside the dedicated session: allowed, but an adult with a standard ticket must accompany them
- Lockers are available for your belongings, but we recommend not wearing jewelry (kids and parents alike) or bringing valuables, as items can get lost
