Location and timetable
If you’re looking for homemade dishes for lunch, La Mandrinette is the place to go.
A very good address to discover in the North.
Hidden away in the heart of the Endemika nursery in Petit Raffray.
Parking spaces are available and you can sit out on the terrace among the palm trees.
Note that they are only open for lunch from Monday to Saturday, from midday to 2.30pm.
Private events can be organised in the evening.
The dishes
We go there for the very reasonable prices, the home cooking, the warm welcome from the team and the relaxing setting.
Selection of daily specials on the blackboard at very affordable prices.
Wagyu burger and home fries (RS 395) for my man and fish salad à la Mauricienne (RS 395) for me.
As for the kids, we got them home-made nuggets and home-made chips! We accompanied this with a small passion fruit juice (RS 90).
And let’s not forget the homemade desserts.
Kids friendly
Wooden play area at the entrance, on the left as you arrive.
The restaurant offers children’s menus and has lovely rattan high chairs.
In fact, I’ve added this place to the list of restaurants in Mauritius with a playground.
Otherwise, do you have any other places to recommend?
